Has anyone had trouble getting an iphone 4 to facetime with an iphone 5? Any suggestions on how to make a 5 be able to Facetime with a 4?

the iphone 4 user can't seem to connect with the 5.....the call can be answered but the Facetime doesn't "engage."

We are successful initiating from either end, just did so Thursday night.
Are both users on solid WiFi signals? Since it sounds like one end of the connection, I would look into the signal strength for that user.
You should both verify you have set it up correctly. Also be sure you have a 3G or better connection or are on WiFi. you need a fast connection.
That's what's so strange....we're both in good wifi areas....I (the 5 user) have never had an issue with Facetime, except for this incident with a 4 user. It should work, right? There's no reason why it shouldn't, right?
Yes, you should be able to. If you have no problems with others, then I suspect the problem is on the iPhone 4 side. Slow connection or something else. Have them try it using the cellular connection by turning off WiFi first. Narow down if it is maybe a problem there.
I suppose I wanted to check before going to the Genius Bar and looking, once again, far from a Genius, that there isn't something obvious I should know or do in order to make a 5 Facetime with a 4. Thanks!
