Try opening iTunes, go to Settings>Devices and click Reset Sync History.  Then try syncing again.

Also, probably a good idea to close and reopen iTunes before syncing again.

I Reset Sync History in iTunes, restarted iTunes, restarted iPhone 4, rebooted computer, synced iTunes to my iPhone, and still have the same problem. The calendar changes are not going from the phone to Outlook nor from Outlook to the phone.

Contact changes to my phone and/or Outlook are updating.

There are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try in these two support articles:

I tried the troubleshooting steps you recommended. My problem with USB syncing still exists. I have tried disableing my antivrus software then syncing and that did not fix the problem. The problem seems to be with the new iOS 6.1.2 software. The sync problem started when I upgraded to 6.1.2. Is there a way to go back to iOS 6.1.1?

Unfortunately, downgrading iOS to an earlier version isn't supported.  I'm not sure if it will help or not, but you could try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923, then reinstalling iTunes.  This will replace the Outlook plugin in case that's the problem.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes with all of its components as you recommended. I am still unable to sync my Calendar. My Notes and Contacts sync without a problem just as they did before the reinstall. Has support for Windows 2003 been dropped by iTunes? Any other suggestions or fixes would be appreciated.

Outlook 2003 is still supported.  You may need to try repairing or reinstalling Outlook: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821593.

My Windows 7 64 bit Outlook 2010 pop3 usb calendar sync also stopped working after update to ios 6.1.2.  Never had a problem with it before.  All other syncs work fine.  iTunes displays calendar sync step clearly in progress window with no errors.  Here's what I did:

-Completely deinstalled and reinstalled iTunes and related components per Apple specs.

-Disabled all non-Apple com addins in Outlook.

-Ran scanpst against .pst file to make sure it was clean.

-Made sure Outlook version was current and that installation was clean.

-Pushed calendar data from PC to iPhone using both the "do not sync items older than 30 days" option and no option.

-Deleted calendar from phone in iTunes.

    -Completely reimaged phone.

    -Repeated above steps several times.

-Completely repeated all above steps on a different PC running Vista 64 bit with Outlook 2003 and the same .pst file with exactly the same results, ie no calendar sync.

-Took the second PC to the local Apple Store where the techs repeated most of the above steps with exactly the same results.  Techs were very professional, but were not able to make any headway.

-I asked if they could backdate the phone to a previous ios and they said it was not possible.

I have no doubt that the problem was introduced with the update to ios 6.1.2, and had I known about it I would not have updated.

Congratulations mjk349! Sounds like you covered all the bases. I have had no success either. Still cannot sync after following all the steps. I am about ready to give the phone back to Sprint/Apple.

    Hi all

I have an Iphone 4 and outlook 2003. I had the same problems as mentioned higher in this thread. After trying and searching the internet I found this guide from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US . The "Disable third-party Outlook add-ins" was helphfull for me. The COM Add-Ins window in outlook showed the apple plug-in but it was not checked. After checking it and reopening oulook the syncing worked perfectly.

    kind regards

    Bart

It could be where they had a update to iOS 6.1.3 today so maybe u have to update to get that done I know that's what happens to me when there is a update and I never did it yet.
