I just got an iPad 4 and I cannot find my cellular number on generals > about, is there another way I can find my cellular number

As the iPad isn't a phone, it will not have a phone number. If you purchased the wifi + cellular model, this will give you access to the internet using the cellular data network (with a supported data plan), but it won't give you a cellular number. (You can still make FaceTime calls, but those use wifi or cellular data, with a supported plan.)
