Hello,

First of all, please note that a G3 iMac from 1998 has several limitations. It is slow compared to newer Macs. It does not have USB 2.0 ports, only 1.1. The operating system (in this case Mac OS 9.2.2) is usually not compatible with USB wireless devices. It is difficult to find web browsers that work well with modern web pages.

Do not expect to connect a USB mobile broadband modem to a G3 iMac (the system requirements will not allow it). If a mobile broadband Internet connection to this computer is absolutely necessary, the following could be an alternative (albeit somewhat expensive) idea:

One could look for a mobile broadband hotspot with Wi-Fi (similar to the example in the link below). Such a device would connect to a mobile network, and at the same time establish a wireless (Wi-Fi) base station. All computers with Wi-Fi capabilities can access the Internet through that base station.

A G3 iMac from 1998 does not have built-in Wi-Fi. USB Wi-Fi adapters do often not work with Mac OS 9 (and if they do, they do not offer WPA security). Instead, it is possible to use a wireless Ethernet bridge (such as the example below) in order to convert Ethernet to Wi-Fi.

Someone else here may be able to recommend games for this iMac.

Addendum

Alternatively, you may want to investigate whether there is a dedicated mobile broadband router (see examples below) that is compatible with a certain USB mobile broadband modem model (and the mobile network in question).

A connection between the iMac and a mobile broadband router of this kind could be established through a direct Ethernet network cable.
