Q: After updating my iphone 5 to the IOS 6.1.2 , my phone say I don't have a SIM card and now I can't make any calls

After updating my Iphone 5 to the new IOS 6.1.2, after the phone rebooted it didn't recognize the SIM card. Does it has to do with the software update? Any one has had the same issue?
