Q: lost data after itunes update

I tried to update Itunes error appeared and then said recover data well it could not recover I have tried looking at all the help supprts

I have now unistalled I tunes and reinstalled. It seems my I pad is now on charge.If I switch on it remains Blank.

iPad 2, I have no manule
