i have an iphone 4s
and i wanted to format it
so , i went to setting > general > reset > reset all settings
and it asked me for a passcode !
not my passcode it asked me for restrictions !!
i've tried my own passcode and 1234 , 0000
it all didn't work !!!
and i tried to turn off resriction in general setting and it asked me for the password ( passcode ) !!
anyone can help me ?
If you can't remember the restriction pass code you entered, you will need to restore your phone as a new device in iTunes.

Do u mean that the restriction code someone made it not by apple ??
Yes, all pass codes are entered / created by the person using the phone.
You can connect the phone to itunes and then you can simply restore it the factory settings.

Cuz itunes tell me that i have to update to last version if i want to restore iphone !!

A factory restore will install the latest version of iOS that can run on your iphone. There is no way to install an earlier version.

Again, there is NO legitamate way for you to downgrade. Downgrading is NOT supported by Apple.
i have the same issue.but when i try to do a restore in recovery mode a error message is poping up in the last. could any please help me to do a complete reset.
