Q: Why can't change country in my account

I have register an account for apple ID.  I changed another country to purchase some in the app store but now I can't change back the country that I registered. How to change back the country? I have tried to change it many many many times in the "setting".

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.2

    Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID

    Tap your ID

    Tap View Apple ID

    Enter your password

    Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store.

     

    If this is not working ... Do you have a credit card that is attached to an address in the country that you want to purchase from? You must have a credit card with a billing address in that country in order to buy from that store.

    I don't have credit card at the moment, so I just purchases the apps that is free to download. Is it mean I need to fill in the credit card information? Then I can change the country back? 

     

    I tried many many many many times your suggest step and I have tried it with several days before, it is fail. I really don't know why I can change it before then can't change back now, it is stuck at the last step, no respond.

    As far as I know - you have to have a valid credit card that is registered to an address in the country in which you want to purchase. I know that you can create an Apple ID without using a credit card, but I don't know how that works if you want to change from Store to Store in other countries.

     

    Why don't you explain in detail exactly what you did...step by step....and we will try to sort this out.

    I really feel grateful for your please help.

     

    I just did it such as you given step.

    Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID

    Tap your ID

    Tap View Apple ID

    Enter your password

    Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store.

     

    Then I  key in the fully local address that I selected country, such as street, post code etc., yes it is including tel no too. For example, change to china, it is fully china local address, change to Taiwan it is local address too. But now I can't change it back, because after change all information, I fail at the last step, after tap the "next", it is doesn't has any respond, the dialog box is plain and disappear. 

     

    Though I have change the country not success , but the App Store has changed, it's really funny.  But  I can't purchase any from the App Store, it told me must change to the stuck country before I purchases. That's means I can't come back to my country or go any country.

     

    I hope u can understand what I mean.

    I understand what you are saying, and I will try my best to help you.

     

    I can't imagine why you are seeing a blank screen when you get to that step in the process, but try starting all over again by signing out of your Apple ID, reboot the iPad, then go throught the steps again.

     

    Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad.

     

    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    After the iPad has started up completely, go back to the settings and try again to change the store. You may have to sign into your account first.

    So disappointed, fail again. I think this problem is because my ipad got clash? Is it the last I can do? Reset?

    I don't know ....., just feel that is because "clash", if that is not the "clash" why can't change back? And sometimes when I open an app or running an app, the app will automatically close, is not often. So that's why I suspicious it is because clash. I don't know what can I do now.

    Say big thanks to you, the problem has fixed.  I don't know why I can't fix the problem at that time, I had followed the steps u said.  But, today I try it again, then it's work! It is changed back! Thanks a lot to u!
