Hello. I am an American residing in Naples, Italy and today I noticed all movie descriptions were in Italian. No matter how many times I tried to reset the language settings it would revert back to Italian. What's worse is that the movies now all play with Italian overdubs. Please fix this issue or Apple TV will be useless to me and many others living overseas.
Any help appreciated.

You can only use the iTunes Store in the location where you reside. Unless I'm unaware of other language settings the only ones I'm aware of are for the Apple TV menu language.
I have been using the iTunes store and Apple TV with American settings for over a year now. My account was originally created while I was in the U.S. and I pay for my products using a U.S. bank account. This switch to Italian is a recent event. It never did this before.
If you travel the highway each day at 110 mph, just because you didn't pick up a speeding ticket yesterday doesn't mean you won't today.
Cute, but that doesn't solve my problem. Not to mention that it's pretty bad business practice if this is a new implimentation. There are thousands of Americans who reside overseas and not all of them speak the host language. Why offer language settings if Apple TV overrides it based on the IP address?
As I stated before, this is a new phenomenon and most likely created by a programmer who didn't put a lot of thought into the new update.
I'm not saying it isn't a new phenomenon to you or that it hasn't been just fine for you before or indeed that there is no workaround or likely to be one. I'm merely pointing out that the ToU for the iTunes Store state that you cannot download content from the US store, outside of the US and that they have been like that for as long as I remember.
Then that is doing a disservice to our armed forces overseas who wish to watch some American programming. Its illogical for iTunes to allow you to download a program overseas but prevent you from watching it in your language of choice.
I'm not arguing Apple's case or disagreeing with you, I'm only telling you what you agreed to when you signed up for an iTunes account.
Problem resolved. If anyone else is experiencing this problem, check the following on Apple TV:
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to iTunes Store
3. Click Location
4. Ensure it is United States
Mine was somehow reset to Italia. Now all my rentals are back in the English language. It seems that location overrides language settings for Apple TV.
