Q: My screen is password protected and the touch screen is unresponsive.  What do I do?

Need help!  Not sure why this happened.  When I plug it into the computer it says I have to enter the password on the ipod, which iam unable. Reseting it also doesn't work.

iPod touch (3rd generation), iOS 6.1, not sure of iOS

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen                          

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
