Recurrent and annoying Wifi problem

I have a mid 2012 macbook pro 13" with the latest version of mountain lion installed. I also have my macbook pro connected to my Belkin router, along with an apple tv, and various iphones connected to said router. I cannot figure out whether this is a software problem, a router problem, or an ISP problem, but at least twice every day, and usually more frequently, I will be surfing the web (on a multitude of browsers) and upon clicking a link to go to a new page, the internet will randomly drop out and I am told that I have a DNS problem.

The only way to solve this problem is to go to Settings - Network Settings - Assist Me - Diagnostics - I click my router connection - and then it tells me "Your internet connection appears to be working correctly" upon wich my internet is magically restored, only to drop out and cause me to repeat the process minutes afterwards.

I have OpenDNS on both my router and macbook pro. I have asked my ISP (comcast) about this problem and they seem to have no clue why it is happening. It is incredibly frustrating. Can anyone help me out with this?

Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.

Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.

System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.

Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

No internet connection (wireless)

Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).

Delete all extra entries that you find.

Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

If using one of Apple's Airport routers, read its user manual or post in its forum area. If using a 3rd party router, read its user manual, contact their tech support department/website or post in its forum area.
