CREATE HOTSPOT IPAD 2

I suppose that Mr. Jobs, before abandon this life, forgot to update hardware of iPad2 internal modem, to be able hotspot function on this version of iPad ... and so present to Apple a lot of money selling new iPad that clients must substituted if want this feature ...!!!! please all, go to Android if you can!

If Apple is a serious Company, it must recall back these iPad2 version, and resolve problem without cost to the clients, proceeding on substitution.

Checked with your carrier to see if they support it on the iPad

If they do support it then you should have a Settings > General > Network > Personal Hotspot option

I just want to make sure I understand this - if I enable personal hotspot on my iPhone 4 thru my carrier (a t & t), it is NOT possible to setup my iPad 4 wifi only to use this personal hotspot to gain Internet access while I am away from my home?

I do not like public wifi so I was hoping that it was possible to use my iPhone as a means of Internet connecting away from home. Otherwise, if you already have an iPad with cellular, why would you need to pay for a personal hotspot for your iPhone.

ETA clarification for 1st sentence, 2nd paragraph - as a means of Internet connection for my iPad while away from home.

If you enable the hotspot function on your iPhone 4 you WILL be able to connect your iPad 4 to the signal, as well as any other WiFi enabled device.

Thank you for the quick response, it seemed from all the links here that you had to have an iPad with a cellular plan capability. Sorry to have come in on the iPad 2 post.

It is really unbelievable from apple! I have an iPad2 and when I bought it the question (if there is a hotspot "feature" or not) didn't come to my mind! I though it would be silly to ask such a question!

Is it difficult or impossible for Apple to create an update for iPad 2 that will come with personal hotspot like later devices?
