claim compensation for Apple's product and service

My iphone 4S can't power up, I send it to depot detection,

It takes me nearly one month, from Jan 27th until now.

I can't use phone for one month, and my data on the phone is gone.

I bought the iphone only for 4 months.

Can I claim compensation?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Yes, Apple did tell me that when I request service, the data is gone.

But did you think about that? how can I do?

Not repair it? It's not my fault that the phone can't power up.

Why should I take responsibility for this?

I was not given a phone to use for nearly one month, the reason is that there's no phone left.

Why can't I claim compensation for my loss?

Why can't you claim compensation for your loss? You certainly can try, but Apple's warranty and service information clearly state that data will be lost. If you didn't pay attention to that information, which you admit you were told, that's not Apple's fault.

As to loss of service during the time your iPhone was out of your hands, again, it's unlikely that you can get any compensation. But you can ask. If you are in a country where service is provided by the cell carrier, then you would have to discuss the issue with the carrier.

As Peter said, we're just fellow users here so arguing with us will serve no useful purpose. Try arguing with Apple, though I'll wager you won't get anywhere.

Regards.
