My iphone 4S can't power up, I send it to depot detection,

It takes me nearly one month, from Jan 27th until now.

I can't use phone for one month, and my data on the phone is gone.

I bought the iphone only for 4 months.

Can I claim compensation?

Compensation other than the warranty replacement of your iPhone? Almost certainly not, though you can call Apple and make your case.

Your data is of course gone, since Apple replaced your iPhone; they did not repair the one you sent it. Apple tells you that when you request service.

    Regards.

Yes, Apple did tell me that when I request service, the data is gone.

But did you think about that? how can I do?

Not repair it? It's not my fault that the phone can't power up.

Why should I take responsibility for this?

I was not given a phone to use for nearly one month, the reason is that there's  no phone left.

Why can't I claim compensation for my loss?

No good asking other Users the question

( you do realise this a user to user forum  no Apple staff on here )

Call Apple  if you believe you have a case

Why can't you claim compensation for your loss? You certainly can try, but Apple's warranty and service information clearly state that data will be lost. If you didn't pay attention to that information, which you admit you were told, that's not Apple's fault.

As to loss of service during the time your iPhone was out of your hands, again, it's unlikely that you can get any compensation. But you can ask. If you are in a country where service is provided by the cell carrier, then you would have to discuss the issue with the carrier.

As Peter said, we're just fellow users here so arguing with us will serve no useful purpose. Try arguing with Apple, though I'll wager you won't get anywhere.

    Regards.
