iphone 5 cellular network issue at cold

My iphone 5 loses cellular network connection as soon as it is exposed to cold (around 0 Celcius degree). When I bring the iphone to a warm place network connection is back again. What's the problem? Please help.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2
