Outrageous that Mt Lion is unable to save photos from mail directly to iPhoto.

I send myself emails full of photos from trips, etc. as a way of cataloguing my photos, but now cannot import them as a group into iPhoto '11 ((9.4.2). WTH?! why hasn't Apple fixed this?

Does anyone else loathe the "updates" to iPhoto and yearn to turn back to iPhoto 09?

Those are the instructions. J's point is that the functionality doesn't work. I.e. you click the 'add to iphoto' button and nothing happens; it is a bug that has been there for months and means you have to drag the photos one at a time to iphoto.
