Nope.
Hold down the home and power buttons for about 15 seconds. The iPhone will turn off. Press the power button to turn back on.
Okey but when I try to restore it and it goes through the process of extracting and all that stuff there pops up an error message that says (not very accurate): " The iPhone-unit "iPhone" was not able to reset. An unknown error occurred (3194)."
And I have no idea what that means...
Oh and did I mention that I'm trying to restore my iPhone because I forgot my password, any suggestions on that matter ?
Are you trying to erase (delete all data) and then restore (from a backup) or exit recovery mode?
I guess I'm trying to erase and (if I, by some miracle, have made a backup) then restore.
Follow these instrustions to erase: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
and these to restore: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
error code 3194 http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694
Just hold down power and home button until you see the Apple logo.
