iphone downgrade from 6.1.2 6.0.1

Question

iphone downgrade from 6.1.2 6.0.1

Since I have update my Iphone 4 from 6.0.1 to 6.2, my battey life had reduced drasticaly. After doing some searching it seems like it may be a bug in 6.2. I want to downgrade back to 6.0.1 I have downloaded the 6.0.1 file, and have tried to restore it to my phone but I get an error that says it failed and an error number of 1394. I have serched formus, and most of them link to this Apple KB article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275 I have tried all of the soloutions, and nothing works. My phone has not been jailbroken, so that is not an issue. Is anyone else having issues with downgrading?

Really? So has one found out a way aroud the degraded battery life in 6.2.1?

Apple will be working on a solution in an upcoming update. Until then, you will just have to make do. You can't downgrade.

There are 100's of posts here with similar complaints as yours. It would be helpful to us if you can tell us what you have done so far, so we can advise what might be able to alleviate your issues.

Thanks - but that article mentions nothing about specific battery bugs being addressed in next update.

I agree, generally there are not a lot of ways to address specific bugs concerning battery life until apple fixes them, but I could recommend making sure bluetooth is off when not in use, check any apps which use location services excessively, turn down your brightness, and set your phone to turn off after 1 minute.
