Itunes store issue

Good afternoon. I have downloaded the newest version of itunes to my new computer which I have just purchased. When I try to open the itunes store it tells me I am unable to open because the itunes is on used in united states. When installing the itunes it asked me for that and I answered that united states is where I am. What can I do to resolve this issue?
