Hey guy,
I am all out of space on my MacBook Pro. Have moved everything I can on my Mac HD but system is still slow.
What exactly is stored on my DDR ram and what is stored on my HD?
Thinking, if I can just upgrade my DDR ram it might solve the problem..

Ps, curently have 2GB 1067 MHz DDR3 installed..
One thing is the RAM memory and a different thing is the hard disk.
The RAM (random access memory) is used by the operating systems to store the processes of all applications, kernel..., and it's erased when you turn off the Mac. The hard disk is a part where you store all of your personal files, your applications and the operating system; the hard disk isn't erased unless you want to do that, and with its use, it may fail, so you should make backups of your files.
In your case, you may need a bigger hard disk for your Mac if you haven't got enough storage to store all your data
There is no relation between RAM and your HDD. Nothing is stored permanently in RAM. If you are running out of disk space you need a larger HDD.
Cool... thanks a lot. Can I buy any HD for an internal or does it have to be an original mac one?
Any SATA 2.5", 9.5 mm thick HDD will fit.
