Unresponsive USB port

after the up date, the usb port will not recognize the ipad. My Ipad is now blank and will not turn on. I have updated Itunes, and even reinstalled it. This has not helped either. My phnoe works fin, it is just the ipad.

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.2
