Motorola Razr V3i and Bluetooth!! HELP!!

Hi I have a Motorola Razr V3i phone and I cannot get it to recieve files from my imac.... error message "unable to validate" keeps coming up, (via bluetooth). I have browsed through the other topics and replies etc but still can't ne thing that helps me.... does ne1 out there have ne idea how I can get around this problem? this would really be appreciated, thanks.

Baz, Belfast, Northern Ireland.

imac g5 intel duo 20" LCD/Video ipod 60GB 5th Generation, Mac OS X (10.4.6), 128mb graphics/wireless keyboard+mouse/1gb ram.

as you've seen, there are lots of posts about this

it looks like only certain v3i firmware versions work correctly (not sure which, my razr is the older model)

there may be some third-party add-ons that help (not free)

you can also try google for possible work-arounds, a quick search found...

Thats right, its a firmware Problem.

I read this thread - thanks um.

I just deleted the existing code from where it begins:

<key>com.motorola.razorV3</key>
<dict>

on to where it ends with

<dict>

and copied in the code supplied at the link
http://www.macosxhints.com/dlfiles/v3bt.txt

and i was able to sync and everything.
