Q: I have by mistake erased the os in my iPhone 3 can anybody help to reinstall the os back to the phone?

I have my mistake deleted eveything in my iPhone 3, including the operating system. Tried different ways to reinstall it starts but finally gives up with some error message. Can someone help?

no operating system is there.

The only way your iPhone could have no operating system is for it to have been hacked or jailbroken. If you cannot restore it from iTunes (sounds likely), then it has been "bricked".
