Connection to App store fails

Question

I've working internetn connection, yet connection to app store fails. Sign in also fails with connection failed message.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

i used to have the same problem but now it freezes on a "connecting to itunes" page

i havent been able to update anything for a week now

I'm unable to connect to both the App Store and the iTunes Store today. Very weird.

I report the same problem, I cannot connect to App Store and iTunes as well...! Maybe there is a technical problem.
