It will only play very softly and Abit distorted? The speakers work, and the headphones work in other devices. Also when I put pressure Abit above the headphone jack it works perfectly?

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
I've tried that, it makes no difference.

I think the Headphone Jack is defective.
But how come it still works perfectly if I put pressure, above the headphone jack?
You may want to try another headphone.
I have and it works the same.
Plug your headphone in and twist the plug back and forth for about 10 times and see if it sit properly.
If all the recommendations do not work
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.
A third-party place like the following will replace the jack for less. Google for more.
