Q: How do I eject my ipod if the computer does not recognise it?

My itunes said my ipod was corrupt and would not open it in itunes, after trying to eject it the icon for my ipod disappeared completely but my pod still says "Connected- Eject before disconnecting"

What do I do?

You could look for the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the system tray/notification area of your computer (by the clock) and use that to eject the iPod.  But it sounds like you've got worse problems that what MIGHT happen if you just unplug the iPod.  Sorry.
