Polyphony

I primarily use Main Stage as a piano - but how much polyphony do I get and can I change it....or does MS assign Polyphony depending on how much computing power is available at any given time?


No mention of this in the help system (surprise surprise!)


Confused, of Colchester.

You need to find it out. All instruments offer a control for polyphony, it's named "Voices". Some instruments are a bit CPU heavy and don't eat CPU per voice, but have a basic CPU load. The EXS is pretty lightweight. If you need disk peroformance, you might consider migrating to a solid state disk. That's a huge speed bump for the machine.
