iPod 5G restore help!?

My friend jailbroke my iPod and I didn't want it anymore so I tried to restore it. It said there was an error and that it was in recovery mode and that if I wanted to use iTunes with it I need to restore it but it won't let me restore!

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.1

Get your "friend" to restore the iPod to normal use.

Jailbreaking voids the Apple warranty and also means that you will not get any support from Apple, including from this Apple forum. Jailbreaking can't be discussed in this Apple forum.

Unauthorized modification of iOS has been a major source of instability, disruption of services, and other issues
