Hi there, I've got a Macbook late 2009, running Mountain Lion 10.8.2., installed after 3 years of the mighty Snow Leopard.

After more than 3 yars I see a Physiological loss in battery life, and I think it's normal, now ML shoot it down, and again, It's not a surprise. Now a good charge lasts for 3 hours max.

the question is: could you tell me if it's possible somehow to upgrade my white mac? I heared about it's possible use more ram than Apple says on the specs, and using a SSD HD should improve the performances?

Your MacBook can take 8gb of ram. I'd suggest either Crucial or OWC for ram. Stay away from value brands such as PNY, Centon or Kingston, to mention a few, because your Mac may not work with them.

Replacing the hard drive, while more difficult than previous models, is still possible. Check out these instructions
