Q: How do you start and STOP your AT&T monthly Data Plan?

I just purchased an IPAD 4 with wifi and AT&T cellular. I want to understand how to start and stop the month to month data plan. I also need to verify cost. I would like to use one month then stop. how do I do this? Thanks

To stop, just to back into those settings and cancel before the monthly plan automatically renews.
