share to dvd hard drive

I have shared quite a few FCPX projects as " DVD " to hard drive and then physical DVD discs for delivery. FCPX share to DVD was the best option at the time because DVDs didn't need complex menu. Now, we are asked to put a few of those projects on " A " DVD with extensive menu and slideshows ... . So Back to DVDStudio Pro again.

While we were sharing those single DVDs I was creating share to DVD >>> to HardDrive and I have all those " img " files that FCPX creates in the process.

Is there a way I use those DVD " img " files in DVDStudio pro ? That would save a lot of time rather than going back and compressing to SD for DVD in compressor.

I don't think there is a way to use those .img files directly.

But if you have also exported master files from these projects, you can use those.

Just add the master files to DVDSP and let it do the compression.
