Q: SlideShow

Why do some photos not appear in the slidewhow? You see them in the "photos" Library, but they do not appear in the slideshow even when "dragged" to the slideshow.

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Upgrade to the current version of iPhoto in the App Store.

How would I do this? I have about 10,600 photos in there. They all seem fine but when you pick an event to run a slde show from I can see gaps where some photos that I know are in the photo library and being skipped. Then when I look to see what is in the slideshow I can see that they were not there. Thanks.
