When restoring from iCloud does my phone's screen need to be unlocked? or can it be done while the screen is locked?

It needs to be unlocked, you need to make choices and tap buttons during the restore process.
Great response thanks, but I dont think I made myself clear, the restore is done is the apps that are installing, will my phone need to be unlocked for my apps to install or can it be done while it's locked?
I believe they continue to download even if the phone is locked.
I'm done and you were right they do keep downloading while the phone is locked, I found out by myself but still thanks for the help.
