facetime fails

Facetime keeps failing when trying to connect a call. It used to and then failed. I solved it by creating a new logon and entering all my information again. it worked again and has recently failed again. I do not want to recreate another logon any ideas? I can only assume it has something to do with the address for facetime UXXX/appleid/UXXX

Try going back to your original account, Quit facetime. Click on Finder then in the menu at the top Go > Go to Folder and type in ~/Library/Preferences . You should find 2 com.apple.factime.plist and com.apple.facetime.bag.plist. Drag both to the desktop (just in case you want to drag them back for any reason). Try Facetime again.
