optional installs problem

Hi, when I double click on the optional installs icon it comes up with the following error: There was a Macintosh system error (-1409).

The icon doesn’t look like the one on the explanation and doesn’t have the .mpkg part at the end.

Sorry but I am technically illiterate so I need to be led through this!

Hi, not that it really helps either of us, but...

errFSForkNotFound = -1409, /* Named fork does not exist */

Here's what I'd try...

Get Pacifist...

then extract/install what you need from your Install Disc.
