Help with Airport Base Station to reset wireless service

My wireless internet service (Verizon) turns off several times per day. If I unplug my AirPort Base Station & plug in again the wireless service works again, for a few hours. I've checked w/Verizon, & tests show the signal is fine. Has anyone experienced this problem who knows how to help?
