Only 4 of my purchased items showed up on my new itunes. What now?

I moved my itunes onto my new laptop with a usb. That worked fine for most of my music except the music I had purchased on itunes.

So i followed these instructions and recovered only 4 of my purchased songs.

I have at least 200 songs that were purchased so i'd really like to get them back some how.

I'm afraid to plug my ipod in to my laptop in case it would delete all of those songs.
