Feb 26, 2013 3:25 PM in response to h. elizabethby Kappy,AppleWorks has pretty much disappeared. It is no longer in production and hasn't been for about 8 or 9 years. If you search Google you may find a download for the last version that was a universal version and worked on Intel versions of OS X. I would assume it is not installed on your system, hence, the error message.

Feb 26, 2013 8:06 PM in response to Kappyby Peggy,AppleWorks is not legally available for download. You would need to buy a copy. HardcoreMac.com still lists AppleWorks 6 on their website. You could also try eBay but you would need to make sure it is AppleWorks 6.2 or newer to install on OS X.
