Q: Emptying my trash will not execute and I get an error code -8003. What is wrong and how do I resolve.

When trying to empty my trash, it will display the pop-up bar, which seems to indicate it is working, but will not empty the trach, then displays an "Error -8003" and asks if I want to STOP or CONTINUE. Trash will not empty.

Not sure what is wrong or how to resolve.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

iMac, iOS 6.1.2

Hello, might you have deleted some Time Machine backups in the Finder rather than in TM?
