Emptying my trash will not execute and I get an error code -8003. What is wrong and how do I resolve.

When trying to empty my trash, it will display the pop-up bar, which seems to indicate it is working, but will not empty the trach, then displays an "Error -8003" and asks if I want to STOP or CONTINUE. Trash will not empty.

Not sure what is wrong or how to resolve.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
