Restoration of code 3014 will not work?

My iPod was working just fine until I plugged it in to update it. It keeps saying it is in Recovery Mode and needs to be Restored. It can't restore it and keeps giving the code 3014. I've done every step it suggested of installing new iTunes (which *****), restarting the computer, checking all connections and settings, holding the sleep button and power button and I keep having the same problem.

Any ideas?
