Q: What do you need to Redeem a gift?

I sent a gift to someone, but they never got the email notification. Can I give them the order number or invoice number to redeem as the code, or is there a specific code they need from the email they should have gotten?

Launch iTunes,go into iTunes Store click on your name in the drop-down menu select redeem.

But with what code? The notification email that's supposed to have that info never went thru.

The code on the back of card. You will need to rub it off with a coin.

There is no card. I purchased a movie on iTunes to send to someone. It's electronic.
