hello all
i own an iphone 4s and an ipad 3 and a couple of months ago i purchased an extra 10gb of icloud storage in total now is 15gb
2 weeks ago when i tried to backup my iphone in the cloud i hgot the followingt message even though i still have some storage free i got "not enough storage"
the wierd thing is that with the same apple id i backedup my ipad 3 without any issues
any ideas on how can this be??

You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......
You have 3 options......
Don't know if you saw the above screenshots but they show that I have 15gb of space and it shows that I still have some available
Plus as I said with the same apple id there is no problem syncing with iCloud and no message regarding not enough soace
Yes but without knowing things like what size your next back up is or how big the backup is on your iPad 3, it's impossible to say whether there's a problem or a misunderstanding.

As you cna see from the iphone screenshots on my first post and the ipad 3 screenshots here i still have available space on my icloud account which in total is 15Gb but i get the not enough storage on my iphone message (that massage only apeears on my iphone)

It may not be relevant, but do you not use documents & data or email.
actually i dont use this on these devices and even if i did..the usage wouldnt have shoiwed to be that much...as i said my toital icloud space is 15gb!!and as you cna see i still have space on both devices
my last solution is to erase the last back up on the iphone and start a new back up and see how it goes!
Yes, that may well be the only thing that you have to try at this time. Could you please let us know what happens when you do this.
