Q: I locked my phone on iCloud and when i woke up it was gone!!

So my ex boyfriend basically stole my phone when he was over here, took off, i locked it thru find my iphone and it was there, it was off but it was showing that once it got online it would lock, i did that around 2 AM i wake up at 6 AM and my phone is gone, it's not on icloud anymore! i know he couldnt of guessed my password so how did he get in my phone and reset it?!?

Welcome to the Apple community.

Unfortunately it is easy enough to wipe a phone and restore to factory conditions. Fortunately without your password for the screenlock he is unable to access your data or use the phone with your settings.

So is there anything i can do? at all or does he just get to keep my new iphone?
