Hi my 3gs had a water contact, and fixed in a local shop, and then I connected to itunes, it went to recovery mode, Now when i try to activate the following message appeares. "we r sorry we are unable to continie with your activation this time".
help please

Either:
They didn't "fix it".
You don't have a SIM in it, or the SIM has failed completely.
Or
The phone was hacked to unlock it.
Make sure to connect to WiFi for the activation. If not, make a genius bar appointment.
The genius bar won't touch it. It was "repaired" by an unauthorized 3rd party shope (apparently).
If it needs further repair, the only real option is to find a competent 3rd party repair shop.
