No idea what happened but all of my videos in my iPhoto have zero time. Use to be able to watch/use them but now they don't play. Not very computer savvy so thinking it might be an update recently? Please help.

What version of iPhoto are you running? What happens when you select one of the videos in iPhoto and use the File ➙ Reveal in Finder ➙ Original menu option?
You should be taken to the folder inside the library with the movie file selected. Do you? If not what do you get?

Have you exported all of your photos & videos and used those to create a new library sometime in the past?

I am using iPhoto V9.4.2. I tried doing what the file, reveal in finder, original thing. It brings a little window with the selected video but still has zero minutes and so it will not play. I tred shutting down and back up, still all videos have zero minutes.
No I have not exported any videos. All are still directly imported from my camera into iPhoto.
The only thing I have done lately is install a new printer, it had photo print on the menu but I never used it.
I forgot to say that the window called up with the file, reveal, original thing is QuickTime V10.2.
Does the original file play outside of iPhoto with Quicktime Player? What version of iPhoto are you using?
Try downloading and installing QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later and then try playing the videos in iPhoto.

Old mpg videos on my external hard drive will play on QuickTime but all the videos on the iMac internal drive accessed with iPhoto have zero minutes.
I will redownload QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X V10.6.3 or later and see if that fixes it.
No that did not help. All videos have zero minutes.
original thing is QuickTime V10.2.
The original file is a QT movie file like it should be?
All of my videos are .mpg videos. The really old ones are .wmv (those won't play).
I had a .mpg video that I dragged out of iPhoto a while back on have it on my desktop. That one plays just fine. Only the videos (hundreds) that are in iPhoto are zero minutes now. They use to be fine but I can not say when as I don't watch them all the time. It is like iPhoto has stripped them of their minutes.
I tried dragging one out of iPhoto to my desktop but it still had zero minutes.
Download and install Perian - The swiss-army knife of QuickTime® components. Reboot and then try again (even the wmv files).
Downloaded and tried both the old wmv and newer mpg files, no good. Nothing happens.
