It is supported but you may need to update the firmware on your printer before it will work.

Also make sure the iPad and the printer are connected to the same wireless network.

I believe the link you are posting is out of date. Go to the support area on Samsung for your model printer.

I guess they would know, but you might call them. It is listed as such in the link you originally posted and that would have been supplied by Samsung to Apple.

The Samsung FAQ you link to states that while it does not support AirPrint, it can be used from an iOS device via their Mobile Print App.

To print wirelessly from your iOS device you can also download the Samsung Mobile Print App. See the chart below to view compatibility.

    iOS Supported Printer Models:

    • CLP-300/31x/32x/350/410/610/620/660/670/680/770/775 series
    • CLX-216x/316x/317x/318x/3300/4190/6200/6240/6250/6260/838x/854x/92x1/9250/93x0/9 350 series

    • SF-760/SF-760P Series

You'll need to find the Print App in the App Store and download it.

It is, but its possible it was mistakenly put there. I would believe Samsung more over Apple's list. Speically if the Printer is not showing app in the "Print to option" in the iPad.

The "AirPrint Basics" list just lists what the manufacturers tell Apple. Its unlikely Apple verifies that every printer in the lists sent to them is actually correct. With so many models out there its conceivable an unsupported model slipped through.

Call AppleCare and ask to be transferred to Customer Service. Tell them your story and inform them that Samsung sent incorrect information to Apple about the printer. Perhaps Apple can then sue Samsung. They have experience doing so.

    Hi!

I just got this printer (Samsung ML-2950ND, wired ethernet, duplex, mono laser), and I can say that this printer DOES SUPPORT AirPrint.

Some may need the firmware upgrade (there's a November 2012 firmware, version 3.00.14  or something) available on the website. My printer came with this firmware.

    Hope this helps!
