Q: MacBook Pro 2009 - Airplay possible??

If I have a MacBook Pro from 2009 however did upgrade to the Mountain Lion OS, can I somehow still get AirPlay mirroring. I just bought the Apple TV and I cannot figure out how to play from my computer to the TV.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404 AirPlay Mirroring is only compatible with Early 2011 and newer MacBooks Pro, so if you upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion, you won't get it.

However, although your MacBook isn't compatible with AirPlay Mirroring, you can still use a third-party app to mirror the computer onto your Apple TV. To do it, you can use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
