I am trying to download powerISO for the mac

I am trying to download powerISO for the mac and I downloaded the version for OSX and after it downloads it goes into my downloaded file and when I open it it brings up a small box with just some writing in it. The program will not open and I need it for some programs that I have. So I am not sure what I have to do to get the program to work. My father has the program and he showed me what it should look like and it doesnt appear that I have a program.. HELP please!!

What kind of file did you download? A dwg file? Does that container mount and open?

Why do you want poweriso? Your mac can burn dwg or iso to dvd/cds. It can convert between the two formats. It can read a dvd/cd as an image (dwg) and you can then make it an iso.

I downloaded the link that was on powerISO website for OSX. I have a file on my computer that will not run unless I get this program. It is a .pkg file. I cannot copy the file to a cd and I hear that powerISO will trick my computer into thinking I have the cd. Not really sure. I am not a big computer person and was told to download it.

I went to their website and what they have for macos is a *.gz compressed command line utility. It looks like this

Inside of terminal you can run this program with command line arguments to have it do things. Poweriso -? supposedly gives you instructions. I don't see a *,pkg (which is an installer file) on their website. Sorry I can't help more.
