How to make photo stream work faster

[I use a real camera (Canon) and put all of my photos on iPhoto]

On my computer, after I put my photos on my photostream, it doesn't go on photostream instantly. I don't know if anyone is as paranoid as I am about this but I sometimes wait 5 minutes for my photos to go on my photostream and have the photos show on my iTouch as well (usually so i can post instagram stuff 😝)

I was thinking if there's a way to "refresh" the photostream on either the computer or an iDevice because it sometimes takes a while for my photostream to be fully updated.
